If you don't remember I'm Lady T's guitarist and I'm on an afternoon gig in Waukegan at the Jack Benny Center. It's short 1:45-2:30 for $50.00. I know the bread's light but the guys are cool-Nick Tountas (bass), Dave Hibbard (trumpet) and me. It's easy. We'll just be doing standards ala Art Farmer/Jim Hall and you'd have plenty of time to get to an evening gig. Let me know as soon as you can one way or the other. Thanks.

12.22.07 | Amber Barbeau Can I pay for some lesson but not use them until the summer? Do you have some type of certificate or something I could give as a gift? thanks much!
12.22.07 | Amber Do you give private lessons to an advanced drum player?
11.17.07 | John Wilde hi Jeff. Give me a call on 217-553-0104. We have gigs strating on Thursday and friday. regional tour (Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa etc) then nationally. Our drummer from the UK has visa problems, we need to move on. www.myspace.com/johnwildegroup
10.22.07 | Cory Hance (Acoustic gig guy) Hey Jeff,
Thanks for your quick response. Your level of professionalism and ability to slide right in to these easy songs is certainly what's needed for this gig. Now we can just sit back and have a good time rocking the hits in 4/4 all night.
I'm checking in about the hit time now. My other drummer usually uses a little partial gig kit...kick, snare, hi-hat and a couple different hand percussion pieces...usually on the brushes all night. Of course, you do whatever you'd like. I'll throw up a coupla mics around you, and we're off.
I'll get back with you shortly about the hit time, so we can see if you can do it and confirm.
thanks,
Cory Hance

10.12.07 | Tracey Hey Jeff,
Are you playing anywhere in Chicago this weekend? Or do you have any suggestions of a place to check out, preferrably with music ;-). We (Kelly, my boyfriend, and I) will be in town from Sat-Mon for a wedding. Would love to hang if you're around.
Cheers,
Tracey
10.10.07 | Sue Davis Jeffrey,
The email I sent (below) to you was returned as undeliverable so I checked to see if you had a website and am sending this here. Hope you don't mind. NOw I have to come back and visit the website. It looks great.
Your Mom kindly gave me your email addresses. I wanted to thank you for all the wonderful assist in music you provided for our daughter's wedding this past Sunday. For the wedding a musician (recommended by Tim Paul Weiner) named Fabio Pirrozoli (I apologize for not being certain of the spelling) had a group that played wonderful music. He really did what she wanted and worked very closely with my husband to make her day a special one. An additional plus was that Henderson House where the wedding was has a grand piano which is kept tuned so this was great for the cocktail hour also. . My husband has telephoned and left a message for Tim Paul Weiner about how pleased he was with Fabio, but we also wanted to thank you. Please know your help and thoughtfulness thoughtfulness to an old friend of your Mom's is greatly appreciated! Your help made it a very special day!
Sue Davis
08.09.07 | Dex Hi Jeff,
My name is Dex, and I'd like to inquire about the lessons. I started taking lessons a few months ago, but my teacher has been busy lately. I'd like to learn jazz. I bought two jazz books and that's where we base our lessons from. Would you be available during Sunday afternoons for lessons? Maybe from 2-3pm? Thanks.
Dex

10.14.06 | Nick Eipers Jeffrey,
I ran across your name (and the tale of your last minute subbing) on Chris Greene's website. I'm a freelance recording engineer and producer in Chicago. I recorded and mixed Chris' last album 'jazz', and we're currently working on some new tracks (at Chicago Recording Company, then perhaps another studio). So, welcome to Chicago, and if you have any recording needs, keep me in mind; www.nickeipers.com .
09.29.06 | Dave Robison please listen to myspace.com/TheAlayaConscious for a quick evaluation of my rock playing. I enjoy your style and would like to take some lessons.
09.17.06 | Greg Stickeler Hi Jeff,

08.31.06 | Eric Koppa Hey Jeffrey,
I'm a saxophonist in town hoping to start up a project that's been defunkt for a bit. I found you through Chris Green's site . Sounds like you guys had fun at Evanstonstock. Please visit my website, www.erickoppa.com and go to 'Sound Clips'. Please take a listen to the clips from The Zaragoza Quartet and see if that music interests you. It's not exaclty jazz, and not exactly world music. But, we feel we can market it to the Euro-Lounge scene and get some stuff happening. The music requires sensitive playing and I hear you do that real well. We intend to establish a paying regular in town. In the short-term we'd like to put the band back together and rehearse a few times.
Thanks for your time.
Namaste,
Eric
08.31.06 | Julie Boton-Ivaz Hi Jeff, nice idea, contacting us via Gigmasters. I went on your website and entered your information in the event an opportunity comes up. WHat brings you to Chicago from MA? And, what "jobbing" bands have you been working with?
We'll spread your name around as mush as we can; Dave and I don't need subs much on drums. But you never know, and it's great to meet ya. Thanks for checking us out.
